In the scenic heart of Western Ukraine’s Prykarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk presents itself as a cozy regional hub. Yet it has long been underserved in cinematic offerings. Previously, the city’s modest movie needs were barely met by two movie theaters. Remarkably, the ongoing military state in the country didn’t hinder the completion of the magnificent, state-of-the-art multiplex, MovieLand, located in Veles Mall.
Spanning 3,000 square meters, MovieLand is on track to become the largest cinema complex in Western Ukraine. It features seven luxuriously comfortable auditoriums with a total seating capacity of 1,350. All the auditoriums are designed to provide spacious seating and widened aisles for added convenience. Notably, MovieLand is the city’s first truly inclusive cinema, complete with a dedicated elevator and ramps in select auditoriums.
MovieLand is outfitted with the most advanced cinematic technology available to date, boasting the newest laser projectors in all its 7x auditoriums. Additionally, three of the seven halls are specially outfitted for 3D movie screenings. A particular source of pride for the cinema is the use of modern MAG Cinema audio systems and MN Mounting Solutions, both Ukrainian-made and celebrated for their convenience and reliability.
